Four tanks of the same size (1.3meter wide x 2.5m long x 1.7m high, 210kg weight) secured on each pallet (0.9m x 2.2m x 0.15m) and parts secured on one pallet (0.9m x 1.1m x 0.15m) are banned in one 40ft container at Japanese major port like Yokohama or Nagoya. The final destination is Reading, RG2 0QJ, Great Britain. I would like to have a quote from DDP to CIF or FOB. Details will be discussed once a reliable agent is identified. We experienced to ship similar goods by containers to Germany via Rotterdam. However, as our agent does not have an office in the UK, they gave me rather an expensive quote to send one 40ft container to the UK. According to them, the container has to be sent to Rotterdam first, then forwarded to the UK. We would like to reduce the cost by avoiding such a double-dipping procedure. Expected shipping date from Japan is sometime in February 2019. More will be followed like one container to the UK for every 3-4 months, then every month or so, if business progresses as we intended.
